PFY is looking for the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders on Long Island! 

Become a health advocate and uplift Long Island's LGBTQ+ community while gaining part-time PAID work experience, professional development, and workplace skills. ​

What you can expect:

  • Work in an LGBTQ+ affirming and supportive space

  • Connect with your community

  • Create social media health campaigns, memes, and content

  • Be a part of social programs and community events

Peer Navigator

The program includes:

  • Connect with other LGBTQ+ folx through conducting outreach on social media applications.

  • Be a part of social programs to link LGBTQ+ community members to life-saving services (such as counseling and HIV testing).

  • Attend weekly meetings with a dedicated supervisor and monthly team meetings to discuss areas of professional development, current tasks, and upcoming events. 

  • Present sexual health workshops accross Long Island to uplift and empower community members to take control of their sexual health.
